iPower® Offers Integrated Partner Program -- Enables Local Electrical Contractors
to Expand into Solar

Integrated Power Corporation (iPower®), designer and integrator of solar energy systems for commercial, new construction and residential projects, has announced its new Integrated Partner Program to enable local electrical contractors to enter the solar market without expanding their staff or capital investment.

With iPower’s® certification program, contractors couple their electrical expertise with iPower’s® solar system design expertise, training and full-service support to create a mutually beneficial alliance that helps integrate solar into America.

“Even with the solar industry’s rapid growth and the need for solar-trained contractors, cumbersome roadblocks keep many quality contractors from adding solar to their capabilities,” says Eric Pollock, iPower® CEO.  “iPower’s® Integrated Partner Program eliminates those roadblocks, and helps make more trained contractors available to the market.”

With iPower’s® new program, contractors don’t have to try to figure out solar financing, rebates, tax credits and ever-changing laws. They don’t have to add solar system designers or engineers to their staff, and don’t’ have to stay abreast of the latest solar technology, myriad equipment choices and monitoring systems.  iPower® handles all of that for them, and the contractors get to add some “green” business to their bottom line, doing what they already know best -- electrical installations.

Authorized partners receive training and certification in solar installations, plus secure online proposal documents, sales materials with their logo, preferred bidding opportunities, public relations support and revenue share programs.

iPower® provides its Integrated Partners advice on their project’s solar potential, solar system design, engineering and price quote, rebate, tax credit and utility paperwork, equipment procurement, drawings and permit submittals, long-term system monitoring and system performance guarantees and warranty.  iPower® can manage the entire project for the installer, or turn it over for the contractor to manage, whichever is preferred.

“As a certified Integrated Partner, my firm can now perform quality solar installations without the cost of setting up a separate solar division,” says Brian Hudak, president of HMT Electric, an electrical contracting company in San Diego recently certified by iPower®. “I can now provide my clients a turnkey solution to their new solar needs.”
